5 folks arrested in reference to the theft of Miguel Bosé’s home in Mexico

Five individuals have been apprehended in connection with the burglary at the residence of renowned singer Miguel Bosé that transpired on August 18 in Mexico City.


The musician took to social media to report a meticulously planned attack at his home in Mexico, where he and his children were present during the intrusion by ten armed individuals. Fortunately, both he and his family emerged unharmed. On August 24, Miguel Bosé formally filed a complaint with the city's Attorney General's Office, following the initiation of an official investigation by the country's authorities in response to media reports on the incident.


In response to these developments, the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City (SSC-CDMX) has confirmed the apprehension of a criminal group linked to home burglaries, comprised of individuals of foreign nationality. This group is known for employing high-end vehicles for transportation and consistently being armed. The detained individuals have been handed over to the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City, which will continue the investigation to determine their legal status, as stated in an official announcement.


Pablo Vázquez, the Secretary of Citizen Security, detailed that the investigations revolved around monitoring vehicles for several months in various areas of Mexico City, which were allegedly used by the suspects for various robberies. The authorities identified Rolando 'N' or Juan Leonardo 'N' as the individual who used one of these vehicles.


On the night of December 28, the Secretariat of Citizen Security took pre-emptive action, apprehending Rolando 'N' and his accomplice Joel Steven 'N'. A subsequent search revealed a firearm, a magazine, six specific .38 caliber cartridges, along with 300 doses of a substance resembling cocaine, three mobile phones, and cash. Additionally, tools such as mallets, ropes, chisels, gloves, pliers, screwdrivers were found, indicating their potential use in carrying out robberies, as explained by Pablo Vázquez.


Furthermore, it has been disclosed that the criminal gang involved in the burglary at Bosé's residence has conducted operations in various states, including Veracruz, Puebla, Guanajuato, the State of Mexico, and Nuevo León.
